Blade Runner
The movie "Blade Runner" is a science fiction thriller directed by Ridley Scott and starring Harrison Ford. The movie is riveting in thought and provokes a sort of sympathy for the menacing replicants. Harrison Ford is Rick Deckard, a somewhat retired blade runner. Blade Runner are a special profession who track down and "retire" (kill, murder, massacre, maim, whatever you want it to be) replicants, or slave androids who look like humans. He is hired to kill escaped replicants who have come to Earth. The movie is brilliantly written, with a slowly paced story, albeit, but an interesting plot to at least keep you attentively watching. There are many hidden meanings in Blade Runner, which sets it up to be one of the most perfect sci-fi cult film. Fans really enjoy speculating plot turns and secrets that arouse in the movie. The movie's filming is really exceptional and dark, and truly represents the "Apocalyptic" feel of the future. The movie's finale is crazily entertaining, and you couldn't help but shed a tear for the poor dying replicant. The movie leaves with an ominous feeling, like you want more, and you find yourself pathetically watching it over and over again. Blade Runner is a entertaining sci-fi film for people who like a good story rather than futuristic battles.
Final Thoughts:
Blade Runner is a movie that defies what science fiction is in terms of greatness and story. Some may call it boring, but I am engaged in it every viewing, and Blade Runner, though with not much attention from modern people, will always be remembered.
